We had lots of new and returning students join us this month from many different countries…
Argentina, Australia, Bhutan, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala, India, Japan, Lithuania, Mexico, Nepal, Spain, Thailand, USA, Uruguay, and Vietnam.
R U OK? inspire and empower everyone to meaningfully connect with the people around them and start a conversation with those in their world who may be struggling with life.
We will be promoting R U OK? throughout September, encouraging everyone to check in on the mental wellbeing of those around you, and ask the question; Are you ok?
Basic HTML5 and how to make your first website
Learn the basic steps of setting up your own website using HTML5, and create a website that has the back end coding to bring your customers to your site.
TIME: 2pm

We’re so excited to be starting our new Resume Writing Workshop this month! This workshop will be offered to all new starters joining us for orientation, and will take place every Friday at 11am after orientation. The workshop is designed to give students advice on how to set out their resume to apply for jobs on the Gold Coast. All current students are welcome to attend!
This month Certificate III in Fitness will be working up a sweat at the PCYC gym in Ashmore. This gym is nice and spacious allowing students to work on exercises like their group circuit training and group training sessions.

Job role & how Katie can help you: My role at EE as General Manager is to oversee the management of all operations of the college; including its staff, students, and key stakeholders. This includes up to 850 currently studying students, 30+ team members, and over 400 stakeholders. My role includes ensuring the RTO’s overall quality, compliance, efficiency, and fun! Student satisfaction is a huge goal of mine, so bringing all the ‘pieces of the pie’ together cohesively to deliver a fun and positive learning experience to students is my priority!
Fun fact: I grew up in Dubai and Hong Kong, only moving back to the Gold Coast for university in 2013

Fave past time: One of my favourite past times is taking our dogs to the beach with my fiance!
