We know finding suitable accommodation can be a challenge for international students at this time of year. Austrade publishes a range of tools and resources on the Study Australia website on accommodation options within Australia including:
Costs of accommodation will vary depending on your chosen state, city, and type of accommodation. The cost of living calculator on the Study Australia website helps students calculate their expenses.
Do you have a suggestion on an event, workshop, social or anything else you would like to see at the school? Leave us a comment…
Fun fact: I’m amazing (and humble)
Fave cuisine: Love it all – especially fresh ‘real’ food – with great company
Nationality: Born is a USA military base hospital in North London to an American service man and an English woman and have now been in Australia since the year 2000. So, a bit of a mix
Fave pastime/hobby: Big fan of hiking all the mountains in SE Queensland and the Northern Rivers. Love my bike (not in the city so much!), so a nature lover, basically
Job role & how Mark can help you: I am the photography mentor and have shot/studied/explored the world of visual imagery (photography) for some 30 years now. Got a question in that area, reckon I can help…
Fun fact: I once flew to Japan for a 2-week holiday and ended up living and working there for 10 years
Fave cuisine: Japanese and Mexican
Nationality: Australian
Fave pastime/hobby: Travelling – I love exploring new places, finding the quirkiest attractions on offer, and making interesting new friends all over Australia and the globe
Job role & how Vanessa can help you: As part of the EE Student Services team, I’m here to assist with all your school payment, enrolment, and course enquiries, as well as general life in Australia and on the Gold Coast advice! If I can’t answer your question, I am also very good at finding you someone who can! 🙂
