We had 72 new and returning students join us this month from 19 different countries…
Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Czech Republic, Ecuador, Finland, India, Italy, Lithuania, Mexico, Netherlands, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, South Africa, Spain, Thailand & Uruguay.
We celebrate Australia Day with pizza and snacks for all students and staff
Painting and Decorating students put their skills into action by building and deconstructing scaffolding as part of their working from heights units.
We pay our Commercial Cookery students a visit in the kitchen to see what delicious food is on the menu for the day.
Come along and bring the family to enjoy our fifth year of celebrating the last Saturday of the of Chinese New Year Festivities.
There will be full Chinese representation with dragons and lions, lots of music and dance from entertainers from many countries all wearing traditional costumes.
Enjoy indoor and outdoor entertainment, children’s playing facilities and food from many countries.

Brazilian Carnaval is hitting up the Gold Coast on the 16th of February 2025.
A day where all the families can celebrate the Brazilian culture culture together with music, dance, art, food, drinks, games and much more.
Everyone is welcome, Brazilians and non Brazilians – come along with the whole family, no age restrictions. Enjoy a taste of Brazil and it’s beautiful culture!

Explore the Gold Coast’s longest-running art and craft market at the gorgeous Queen Elizabeth Park on the second Sunday of every month – as well as the fourth Sunday in every fifth-Sunday month!
Large, colourful and buzzing with atmosphere, these markets showcase the best and most original of Australian-made products, fresh produce, yummy food and live entertainment. Jewellery, skincare, fashion, homewares and more from local creators and makers can be found – there’s treasure here for everyone.

Celebrate Valentine’s Day with your furry friend! Gather your family and friends, pack a picnic or take advantage of delicious food options with the onsite Fish Shak Restaurant.
The fun starts at 4:30 pm with an exciting interactive Be Pet Smart live performance – featuring the Animal Management mascots, Gee Cee Dog and Cee Cee Cat!
Watch the show and then enjoy looking at a selection of stalls where you can wander an educational booth for free pet information, gifts and advice for caring for your pooch. Buy your pooch some yummy treats, or a beautiful plush toy to say “I love you!”. There will be a yummy stall for human treats too, of course!
