DAVE

Fun fact: I proposed to my wife at the summit of Mount Kosciuszko, Australia’s tallest mountain. Luckily, she said yes, otherwise it would have been a long walk down

Fave cuisine: Italian. I regularly make pizza and pasta from scratch. It is a lot easier than you may think and nothing beats home-made

Nationality: Australian

Fave pastime/hobby: Fencing. I am at my happiest when I have a sword in my hand. Fencing is the world’s best sport because it is a combination of physical and intellectual skills. It has been described as being like chess at the speed of squash

Job role & how Dave can help you: I am the assistant manager at our Brisbane campus and as one of our academic managers I am responsible for English language testing and standards. I have also worked as an editor and proof-reader, so any questions you have about English, I’m your man.
