We know finding suitable accommodation can be a challenge for international students at this time of year. Austrade publishes a range of tools and resources on the Study Australia website on accommodation options within Australia including:
Costs of accommodation will vary depending on your chosen state, city, and type of accommodation. The cost of living calculator on the Study Australia website helps students calculate their expenses.
Do you have a suggestion on an event, workshop, social or anything else you would like to see at the school? Leave us a comment…
Fun fact: I grew up playing sports my whole life. I got to play 2 years of professional cricket in the United Kingdom, until injury forced me out of that life. This led me to becoming an Exercise Physiologist to help athletes rehab their own injuries
Fave cuisine: My favourite cuisine depends on the season, but at the moment it is definitely ramen
Nationality: I was born in South Africa and lived there until I was 11 years old. I didn’t speak a word of English when we moved to Australia and to this day still speak Afrikaans with my parents
Fave pastime/hobby: My friends will tell me that I am the oldest 28 years old they know. I would play golf every minute of the day if I could. I also have a 3-year-old Labrador which gets most of my attention and whatever I have left will go to my wife (cooking her dinner)
Job role & how Marco can help you: My journey into becoming a Fitness Mentor has been a long and painful one. From dealing with my own injuries to helping people recover from their own physical impairments, I have learnt that our own body is the biggest gift we can ever get and therefore we should make the most of it. As anyone in the fitness industry, we play a vital role in the health of current and future generations and I aspire to give the graduating Personal Trainers at Entrepreneur Education the tools and knowledge to help anyone that needs it. Watching my students improve on a day-to-day basis is one of the most rewarding things I can do and that’s why I love coming to work every day.
Fun fact: Most people think that I’m fierce, quiet, and rarely talk, but actually, I’m a crazy person and like to make jokes or even do a crazy dance
Fave cuisine:
I would say I like all kind of food LOL. I love trying new food whether it is an Asian food, European food, or from anywhere in the world
Nationality: Thai
Fave pastime/hobby: I am a gym junkie. So, I am really crazy about doing exercise, especially Thai boxing and weight training. I also love cooking Thai food. Do you want to try some?
Job role & how Nan can help you: As a Thai offshore representative, I can assist with any inquiries from Thai students/agents not only about the school’s information but also anything that I can share from my personal experience about the Gold Coast/Brisbane; lifestyle, jobs, accommodation, etc.
