Staff Spotlight

MICHELLE

Fun fact: My dad was one of the first drafts in the New York Yankees Baseball team. Then he got married and was not allowed to play, as in those days you needed to be single to be a sports person

Fave cuisine: Pizza! I usually get a margarita pizza and pimp it up with jalapenos, tomato and more cheese

Nationality: I have dual citizenship – Canadian & Australian

Fave past time: Working in the bar at a private Heli-Ski Resort in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Tips were great as it was only the rich and famous who ski there as it is expensive. I would make more money in tips in 1 winter season (November-February) than I did in an entire year of salary! Tips were the best

Job role & how Michelle can help you: As the Training and Quality Manager at EE, my job entails overseeing the Mentor team and managing the design, development and quality of courses being developed and delivered. I work with the mentors to ensure that the students have the best possible learning experience. I guide and advise the mentor team with all aspects of their chosen Faculty

JILL

Fun fact: I lived and worked on a horse farm for 3 months in Australia…resulting in being kicked, dragged, thrown, and stood on by horses, but I still love them!

Fave cuisine: Mexican! Especially if it’s paired with a good margarita!

Nationality: Irish – I have lived in Australia for 8 years now

Fave past time: Chilling on the beach or finding new nature hikes in the Gold Coast hinterland

Job role & how Jill can help you: I am the Creative Director and Marketing Co-ordinator for 101 Marketing. I look after the social media platforms for EE, working with our Photographer/Videographer to create content to share for the school and the sales team. I also create marketing material such flyers, brochures, and banners for the sales team to use worldwide, as well as any artwork the school need for promotion
