“I really enjoyed this unit, especially the studio sessions.  Learning about different lighting techniques was the highlight for me because it helped me understand how lighting can completely change the mood and outcome of a photograph.  I also enjoyed the hands on practice.  I think it would be great to have even more practical studio sessions.”

“As a beginner photographer, I’ve realised that you can have the best equipment in the market, but still get bad photos. What makes a good photo is the light. This unit is crucial so we can learn how to deal with different studio lights and also natural light.”

Student

Renata Smanioto Mendes

“Learning about light is one of the most important things in photography, and in this unit we learned a lot about studio lights and natural light as well. Was one of my favourite units in the course so far.”
