Our Diploma of Marketing & Communication students stepped out into the world of creative strategy this week, presenting their ideas for sourcing funding for RSPCA initiatives. Amazing work representing a great cause!

Laneway Festival is one of the most loved and respected live music events across Australia and New Zealand — a tastemaker festival renowned for discovery, community, and championing the most exciting artists from around the world.
This year, Laneway Festival will make its Gold Coast debut at Southport Sharks — a fresh backdrop and the perfect chance to connect with fans in a region that’s always shown enormous love for live music. The new site offers a unique setting with an easy-to-navigate layout, seamless movement between stages, and excellent transport connections. Intimate yet expansive, it’s set to deliver a world-class festival experience.

The 2026 World Club Championship hits Snapper Rocks, uniting 32 of the world’s best boardriders clubs for three epic days of surfing.
Debuting a four-surfer format — Open Men’s, Open Women’s, Junior (U20) & Master (40+) — the event showcases a balance of youth, experience, and elite talent.
A kaleidoscope of community, culture and the arts along the full length of the coastline from Kirra, right through to the contest site at Snapper Rocks.

Multi-platinum UK rock royalty The Darkness are set to make their triumphant return to Australia with an epic summer show at Miami Marketta.
Following their massive 2024 Permission To Land 20th anniversary tour, the band are bringing their signature high-voltage energy and outrageous fun back to stages, serving up fan favourites like I Believe In A Thing Called Love and Love Is Only A Feeling, alongside new tracks from their latest album Dreams On Toast, including I Hate Myself and The Longest Kiss. This tour marks the first chance for fans to hear the new songs live.
